Argus is a crypto portfolio tracker built to keep your financial data private. The short version: we don't collect anything. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no ads.
None. Argus does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you. We have no servers that hold your data and no way to identify you.
Everything you enter — transactions, holdings, price alerts, and your net-worth history — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes your data.
To show live prices, logos, news, and (only if you use the feature) wallet balances, Argus fetches public data from third-party services:
Argus never asks for, and cannot accept, a seed phrase or private key. Only a public address is ever sent, and only to the services listed above.
When these requests happen. A wallet address is sent when you first paste it, and again when you open or return to the app, so that balances and staked amounts stay current. If you remove the holdings imported from an address, Argus stops sending it.
A public wallet address is a pseudonymous identifier: it is not your name, but it is specific to you and is permanently visible on a public blockchain. The services above receive it in order to answer the balance lookup, and their use of it is governed by their own privacy policies. Everything else Argus requests — prices, logos, headlines — carries no identifier of any kind.
Price alerts are delivered as local notifications generated on your device. There is no notification server, and we cannot see your alerts.
Argus contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across apps or websites.
Argus is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
